Chess is a journey, and training makes it more enjoyable and rewarding. A player who works to improve will enjoy tournaments, seeing each game as a chance to put into practice what they have learned. Those who do not dedicate time to training often struggle in competition: victories may only bring a momentary satisfaction, and losses can be frustrating. True enjoyment comes from playing at your best and knowing the work behind your results.
I have been dedicated to chess training for over 20 years, working with students of all ages, genders, and levels. Students include club players looking to improve for weekend league games, talented young players aspiring to become Grandmasters, and those who simply love chess and enjoy learning with a Grandmaster.
Each student is different, so lessons are shaped by individual goals, strengths, weaknesses, age, available study time, and life commitments. There is no fixed program and each learning process is unique. Honesty is the foundation of my teaching. When I was a developing player, I did not follow a strict program either; I focused on all areas of the game, emphasizing the middlegame and openings, shaping my style, and learning from others.
What I offer now is the guidance and experience I wished I had as a young player: years of practical insights, tournament experience, and structured learning that can help students reach their best version, improve day by day, and save time along the way.
